Prospect Media offers the option of printing on FSC certified paper. The FSC – Forest Stewardship Council – is an internationally recognized non-profit organization that “supports environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial, and economically viable management of the world’s forests.”
When you choose to print on FSC certified paper, you are choosing to use a product of verified recycled sources and responsibly managed forests. The FSC ‘check tree’ logo tells your customer that you used paper that comes from forests that are certified against a strict set of environmental and social standards. Choosing FSC certified product is choosing to:
- Contribute to the protection of wildlife habitat and endangered species
- Respect rivers and waterways
- Use a product that was not a result of genetically modified trees
- Contribute to healthy forests and conservation
Products can only be FSC-certified – carry the FSC logo - if both the paper AND printers are FSC-certified.
